Remote Support

There may be a time that you want to have someone connect remotely to your system to assist with software or issues. 


You will need a Gmail account to use this feature, if you do not have a Gmail address, you can create one for free with the following URL: Create your Google Account


To allow access to your system remotely, please follow the following steps:


  1. Open your web browser, Chrome preferred, and navigate to the following URL: https://remotedesktop.google.com/access
    1. Log into your Gmail account, if necessary
  2. If it is not already on the "Remote Support" page, click on "Remote Support" on the left side of the screen.
  3. Under "Share this screen" a download icon will show or a "Generate Code" button will be viewable
    1. If necessary, click the download icon to add "Chrome Remote Desktop
      1. If the browser is not compatible, download and install Chrome and perform steps 1-3 again
  4. Once Remote Desktop is installed in your Browser, click "Generate Code" button.
  5. Code generated is active for 5 minutes and will need to be given to the technician who is assisting you


This allows remote access to the system to assist with installing software or troubleshooting issues.
